Meet Taco & Belle
READY TO GO HOME……..
These two extremely outgoing beauties were an owner surrender at the age of about six months.
They would love to find a home of their own. Belle is 100% blind, and her sister Taco is her best friend. Often you will see them running around the shelter greeting everyone when they come in the door or attempting to fold laundry ?
Although Belle is blind, she is very adaptable and low maintenance. She has incredible sonar abilities which is often seen when they are born blind. During her spay she experienced a seizure and has had two since both while in the shelter that was several months ago. She has not had any litterbox issues and most of the time you cannot even tell she is blind. She can climb a 5-foot cat tree in about two seconds.
Since Belle has had more than one seizure, she has been placed in our Gaia's Landing program where all her medical bills as well as 24/7 medical support will be covered by us for the rest of her life. The cause of the seizures is unknown, the seizures are so infrequent that she does not require medication or any special care except love.
