Meet Taco

Taco is a 4-month-old, playful, energetic, cuddly, and loveable kitten looking for his forever home!

Taco has an incredibly playful personality and has more energy than I have ever seen! He will play all day, but the minute you lie down with a blanket, he just wants to cuddle with you. He adapts to a schedule when it is strictly followed and adapts easily to any changes in the home. He is also a climber and will stick his nails into anything he can to get on top of it or to play with it- this includes humans! He is a stickler for meal times and will whine at you until he is fed, shoving his entire mouth into his food at once instead of trying to take normal-sized bites. If there is a hole in your couch, he will make it his life duty to find it, play in it, and make it so you have to tip the couch over to crawl in and get him out!

Taco absolutely loves playing with his kitty foster sister and tearing apart toilet paper/boxes/regular paper/anything he can get his paws into. He also highly enjoys playing in boxes, paper/plastic bags, garbage, or anything that lets him play hide and seek. He goes absolutely bonkers for a laser pointer or a string toy. When it is time to settle down and go to bed, all he will want to do is snuggle by your legs and make it so you can't move him!

Taco wakes up before his humans and tends to play with a human if they are not awake by 7 am. He then plays with the foster kitty sister until breakfast at 7:30. He goes between playing, lounging in the sun, and napping throughout the day until the human comes home around 6/7 pm. Then he yowls at the humans for dinner, followed by playtime until 10-10:30 pm where he will start to settle down to go to sleep. He gets cuddles from the human before the human locks him out of the bedroom. He continues to play until his foster cat sister goes to sleep and then he follows suit. Taco has endless amounts of energy, but when you are able to adapt him to a routine, he will fall asleep just as you will!

Currently, Taco lives with his foster mom, and two kitten sisters (one foster 13yo and one resident 3yo). He is in a one-bedroom apartment with two cat trees, and plenty of places to play hide and seek

Taco's ideal home would be with one or more adults, no children under 13, and at least one cat friend to play with. Taco has endless amounts of energy that if it is not spent with another feline friend, it will be passed onto the humans which can result in bite play and other behavioral concerns

It would be helpful if the new owners knew how to train a kitten in order to begin building appropriate behaviors for when he is full-grown!

There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate.

Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.

All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow-up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
