Meet Tabitha (FeLV+)

Tabitha (aka Tabby) is a 1-year-old, petite and affectionate cat looking for her forever home.

Tabby has a sweet and calm disposition. She likes to be around her people, following them around and often jumping in their lap for lots of pets and snuggles. She has the ability to jump into the chair just before someone is about to sit in it. So you always have to look while you sit to avoid landing on her. Tabby is quick to warm up to new people.

She enjoys sitting in a comfortable spot near someone and looking out the window or napping. She gets excited for catnip toys and playing with dangling toys. She loves being pet, especially under her chin and at the base of her tail. She enjoys her rump rubs and really leans into them. She is very curious and is interested in exploring closets and unused rooms. She can be stealthy and wind up closed in if you aren't careful, and she will go into the toilet if the lid is left open.

She gets up in the morning with her human between 7 and 9 am and eats her first meal which is 1/4 cup of dry food. She spends her day near her humans with naps in the sun or by the heat grate. Tabby is generally low energy with spurts of playfulness. She is intermittently vocal, for the most part she is quiet. She has her evening meal at about 6:00 and comes for a snuggle after eating. She spends some of the night in bed with the humans and dog.

Currently, Tabby is living in a house with two adults and an older, medium-sized golden doddle. The adults are home most of the time, with one working from home. Extended family has visited with toddlers.

Tabby would do best in a home where she is the only cat and will get a lot of human interaction- mostly lap or snuggle time. She would do fine in either a house or an apartment with an opportunity to look out a window. Due to her health status, she must be an indoor cat.

She is FeLV+ and needs to be the only cat in a home. Her adopter should know about the potential impact of feline leukemia and the need for regular immunizations.

There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate.

Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.

All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
