Meet Sylvie
My name is Sylvie.
My rescuers thought I looked like a ballet dancer because my feet are in a constant plie'position. I am very petite, playful and precious. I like laser toys. I am curious and quirky. I like other cats and some dogs. I make people smile just by being in the same room with me. I weigh about 6 pounds despite my big appetite. I recently took a road trip to New Jersey with my foster mom. Once I figured things out, I was a great traveling companion.
I sleep with my foster mom and her other two cats. I paw at my foster mom's leg to be petted and/or picked up. And I am learning that being a lap cat is nice.  Of course, it needs to be my idea:-). I am no push over. There is simply too much to see and do. Once you meet me you will see what all the fuss is about and why I am a very special little girl.
If you are looking for a smart and precious companion, the first step is to complete the Humane Association of the Lowcountry (HAL) Adoption Application located on the HAL website.

Purrs,
Sylvie
PS: I was named for the french ballet dancer Sylvie Guillem. She was the top ranking female dancer from 1984-1989 before becoming a principal guest artist at the Royal Ballet in London.
