Meet Sweeney
Sweeney is a handsome 4-month-old boy who was rescued from living outside in North Syracuse. He is a sweet guy who loves to snuggle on your lap and purr like a freight train. He is very playful and loves to chase his foster kitten friends around the house. He would love a home with another playful cat.
When Sweeney was a young kitten, before he was rescued, he broke his leg front leg. It healed on its own and he has no pain but he does have reduced mobility because his elbow doesn't flex all the way. He runs and jumps with no issue but does have a limping gait when he walks and he lifts his left leg up when he's sitting. The vet says that he may develop arthritis in that joint as he ages but that can be managed with vet care in the future.
Apply online at cnycatcoalition.org/adoption/adoption-application (say you saw the cat on Petfinder).
Your donation of $135 will contribute to the cost of veterinary treatments the cat has received, such as spay/neuter, rabies and distemper vaccines, microchip, testing, deworming, and flea and ear mite treatments.
