Suzy was rescued from Hamilton animal Services early September - she was about 6 weeks at the time and had major infections in both eyes - it wasn't sure at the time if her left eye could be saved. She went to our vet where she stayed for 2 weeks receiving treatments and antibiotics then off to her foster home where treatments continued. She went on special eye drops for her ulcer and anti viral drops - but the good news is that her eye was saved and even though she has a cloudy spot on her eye - the ulcer is healed and she has vision. Her eyes may water from time to time but that is normal. She got the go ahead to be vaccinated and up for adoption. Suzy has been flea treated twice, dewormed twice, received her 1st set of FVCRP vaccines and microchip. Her 2nd FVCRP vaccine and rabies will be the responsibility of her new owner in December and her spay by AVA in January will be included in her $225 adoption fee. Suzy purrs up a storm, loves to play and cuddle. She MUST go to a home with another young cat ( under 3 ) or kitten to keep her company. Two is better than one, twice the fun and 1/2 the work. AVA has an indoor and no declaw policy. Little kittens are not appropriate for children under the age of 6.
