Sura was a stray found near Allison, Iowa. No owner could be found so she is now a WPR kitty and living in a foster home. Sura is now up to date on shots and spayed. She tested negative for FeLV / FIV.
Sura, Female Black Domestic Shorthair, 1 year old as of Fall 2017.
Sura is such a sweet girl. She loves to hang around and play. She loves being up high. She loves to be petted but in shorter doses. She doesn’t mind being picked up if you need to, but she really doesn’t like being held. She is very small and cute and has medium length fur but still a shorthair. If you are looking for 2 cats at this time Sura was rescued with Leo and they love each other. They would both do well with other cats. I would not recommend a home with dogs or small children as she needs a quieter home.
Will someone please adopt and give her a forever home? $95 adoption fee.
WE ARE A NO-KILL 501-C-3 NON-PROFIT RESCUE. All donations are tax deductible. We do not have a shelter. All pets live in foster homes. We only adopt to indoor homes. To see an animal, you must fill out an application first and then once approved, we can set up for you to meet the animal you are interested in. We do background checks on all applicants. All animals see a vet for shots and normal exams. If they appear healthy and there are no obvious health concerns, then extensive testing is not done. This is normal procedure for pet rescues and shelters.
Waverly Pet Rescue puts a lot of money into medical care for each dog and cat we take in. $200 is the average cost for basic care. This does not include if the animal had an injury, required extra flea / ear mite treatments, or needed extra days at the vet office.
