Simba and Heidi love computers, chasing mice together and playing with/cleaning each other.

Simba is not fearful, rather he's cool and casual.
Heidi is expressive, good sister, so polite, lets her brother eat first, that handsome boy, and Heidi Tortie, one beautiful girl. Now who does that in the cat kingdom?

Post Covid 19 financial considerations unfortunately has interrupted their normal life cycle and now they are looking for a new furever home, together. So we are strapped for time to place these beauties in a new and loving home. Please apply so they can move from one situation to a new, purrmanent one.

All our cats are in the NY area and can be adopted out of state. We do like to meet you so plan on picking up; if flying, in cabin only; in some cases we will help with transport.

Please note: kittens MUST be adopted in pairs or to households with age appropriate cat(s) to ensure proper socialization and companionship. NO exceptions! If you would prefer a solo cat, we are happy to recommend cats who would do best as solos. Cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/Felv tested, FVRCP and Rabies vaxed, and microchipped.

Many of us (cats/dogs) will be on display on Saturdays or Sundays, weather dependent--please ask by writing us at cats@zanisfurryfriends.org and following us on FB. If you are seriously interested in adopting one of us in particular, please fill out an application by Friday so that we can be sure to be there. Otherwise we decide based on other variables. Usually we are in our foster homes so this is a bit more stressful and a slightly artificial environment but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes too. Please come! And if you can't adopt, you can perhaps foster, volunteer, and of course, you can always donate!
