Summer's Story

Summer is an unusually gorgeous tabby ginger mix young girl cat who is super sweet but very timid. She is 1.5 years old and was rescued a little late in kitten hood and had been through some trauma while surviving outside by herself as a kitten and now needs someone’s help to heal. Therefore she needs a very special adopter who is patient and experienced to socialize her. Or someone who is willing to learn how to socialize her and pull her out of her shell. Since arriving in foster home, she has progressed to coming over when her name is called and comfortable coming forward for snacks and food (her fav thing in the world). Her foster mom also noticed how gentle and polite she is when getting snacks from her hand. And she will let her guard down during snacks and let you pet her. But she will need socialization to be comfortable being handled. She’s just this sweet soft spoken introverted little girl who needs tender guidance to overcome her social anxiety. She does love to play with her foster family and with other cats and kittens. She loves toys (as much she loves food) and is gaining much confidence by playing. And she loves rolling on her back to tell you how happy she is. If you are the special person who is willing to commit to continuing in her progress, you will be rewarded with a sweet and loyal cat who will never leave your side.

summer is spayed, tested negative for felv/fiv and up to date on vaccines.
