What is Dessin Animal Shelter’s adoption process?

Adoption: You need to submit an adoption application. The link is below. Once approved, we'll schedule an appointment. We're doing adoptions by appointment only with an approved application. Spay and neuter: No pet gets adopted without being spayed or neutered. We're part of the solution to the pet overpopulation problem. Ten point behavioral assessment: A formal, ten point behavioral assessment is conducted on each dog to attempt to identify aggression or behavior problems, as well as to learn about the dog's personality. This helps us determine the best type of home for each dog/puppy.
