Meet Steve Stevens
Yes, our tiny Steve Stevens is handsome and fuzzy, but he is not for everyone. Do not take him home thinking you can cuddle him right away, because he will hiss and smack you with his good paw. He is not an easy cat. He is not a first time cat. You will need a lot of extra patience and love to win him over. And plenty of treats. And other friendly cats or kittens to play with. But the awkward little man has lots of potential. He likes to play and enjoys snack time. Being FIV+ means that Steve takes longer to bounce back when he is feeling poorly and that you will want to monitor him closely. He also has a history of dental issues like stomatitis and has already had many teeth removed and will likely need more . Plus he has a limp on his front left paw which he walks with it curled under. He's more complicated medically and emotionally than the average cat, but offers great rewards for your patience. If you enjoy a challenge and don't mind the fact that it could take many months for you to pet him then reach out to us and schedule a virtual meeting. He is currently living in a foster home where he is making strides every day and learning to be a cat.
