Meet Stephen Winston III
FOSTERED IN: Evanston, IL 60202
ESTIMATED DOB: 05/12/20
COLOR/BREED: Tabby Shorthair
KIDS: Likely
DOGS: Possible
CATS: Yes
HISTORY:
Stephen Winston III was a stray from a suburban animal control.
ABOUT:
Stephen Winston III is from a long line of Stephen Winstons. OK, he’s not...he’s a stray domestic tabby kitten from a shelter, but don’t tell him that, having a fancy sounding name has given him a lot of confidence. Stephen is being fostered with multiple adult cats who range from liking him to barely tolerating him and he has learned to navigate appropriately with each of them. He loves to chase a swishing tail and play with the most willing resident cat. He is a very sweet, gentle, tolerant cat who loves to be handled. His foster mom said he is a top of the line purr machine! He does not live with children, but we think he would be fine with gentle children who can interact with him appropriately. He also might do OK with dogs who are calmer and will give him time to become comfortable with them as he has never been around them. Stephen isn’t much of a climber and prefers to stay on the lower level, never venturing up the cat tree. He can be a little bit cautious/skittish in new situations so a very chaotic active house might not be ideal for him.
We require that kittens be adopted into homes in pairs (when available) or into a home with another playful cat so that they have someone to play with to help keep them out of mischief.
