Meet Spunk. He was born approximately 7/1/21. This boy is an absolute ball of energy. He literally defines, “play hard sleep harder”. Ever since he entered foster care, this boy has been the most daring and adventurous sibling. He wasted no time introducing himself to the big dogs in the house or greeting the other adult cats in the home. Spunk is very social with people, but may hide if there’s too much commotion! He’s been great with younger children and will tolerate being held and picked up for a time so long as he’s not being squeezed. Foster Mom holds him on her shoulder like a baby and he will snuggle and purr until she puts him down.

Spunk isn’t very vocal in the meowing sense, but has the loudest purr his Foster Mom has ever heard. You’ll generally hear his purr before you see him! Spunk is especially smitten with his foster brother, Apollo (dog), and will spend his days snuggling with him on the bed in the sun, or on his own in the cat hammock. Spunk sleeps in bed with foster mom - and loves to attack feet under the covers! His curiosity and adventurousness can be a bit tiresome (he loves to climb screens to look out the windows), so he will need plenty of space to run around, a cat tower or two to climb, and definitely a space to look out the windows!
