Hi! I'm Sprout! I'm the sweetest and most loving kitten that you could ever want. Are you looking for your best friend? I'm best friend and super side kick material! I have a big personality, love attention, and am very interactive. I'm playful, snuggly, attention seeking, and have a dash of sass! My foster mom says I will bond very closely with my human. I love to cuddle on her lap and be carried around. I start purring the moment that she touches me! I'm a very happy-go-lucky kitten and I'm looking for a forever human who will love me and spoil me and treat me with all the kindness and gentleness that I need and deserve (even when I'm not in the mood to get my eye gel!). When I was a little baby I had a severe eye infection. Despite the odds given to me and the diagnosis that I would need to have my eyes removed, I recovered beautifully and was able to keep my eyes and I can actually see very well with only slightly limited vision. My eyes are cloudy but other than that I look and act like any other kitten! I went through a lot when I was a kitten but because of it I love being handled and am very trusting. I am brave and strong and am a true survivor with a big zest for life. My only requirement (aside from all the love) is that I'll need "Optix"eye lubricant 2x per day as my eyes are dry and I need help to keep them nice and moist (this has been directed by my vet at Haslett Animal Hospital). It can be purchased very easily and costs about $13, and the tube lasts a very long time! I'm very good about getting my eye treatment and it only takes a few seconds in the morning and evening. After all I've been through, I hope this isn't too much to ask and I'd love to have a human who is excited about taking care of me AND understands how hard I've had to fight to regain my eye health and is therefore VERY motivated to continue my eye drop care. I will love you forever for taking care of me. I am very well behaved, perfect with using my litter box (I need "Kitten Attract" brand of litter!) and I allow my foster mom to clip my nails so I have never scratched the furniture!

I currently live with a dog who I get along with really well. He's very calm. I might not do so well with a hyper dog because of my vision I could get stepped on! I probably wouldn't do well with small children for the same reasons. I'm spayed, micro-chipped, de-wormed and up to date on all my shots.

My rescue story: Saved by Zade was alerted to a litter of kittens living on a porch with a sick mother. When they came to rescue me they found me along with 6 other kittens and 3 mothers! My mothers were raising all of us together and helping each other out. I'm one of the biggest so I must be one of the oldest ones and my youngest sibling is about 4 weeks younger than I am. We were very malnourished because only one of our mothers was able to produce milk because they were very malnourished too. I've been living in a house for the past 2 months, getting big and healthy! And now I'm ready to move out and into a home to call my very own.
