Marcelo Domestic Medium Hair Mix Malibu, CA

Marcelo was found sitting by her lonesome in the middle of the street at night, she seemed calm and without a care in the world. In fear for her safety a good Samaritan stopped and picked her up and brought her home in hopes of finding her owner. Marcelo was taken into to get scanned for a microchip, unfortunately she didn't have a chip. The finder then proceeded to try to locate her owner, it was during this process that Marcelo started having what we now think are focal seizures. The finder reached out to the rescue community for help and one of Fauna's directors picked up Marcelo and took her into our care. So far our vet has determined she has mild CH, no fractures or broken bones. She is felv/fiv negative . She been tested for toxoplasmia-negative. We are now working on controlling her seizure disorder. Marcelo is living in a foster home where she sees other cats and gets along well with them. She has a good appetite. She is in general a very sweet cat who sees the world in a special way. She likes to be outside on a very secure patio , supervised of course. She runs to you when you call her name. Which in our experience with cats is rare as they love to play the game "find me if you can" as you run around your house looking for them!
