Splinter Domestic Short Hair Kentwood, MI

Hi, my name is Splinter and I came all the way from Texas to meet my forever family! I think I was named Splinter as my Texas family liked Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I just don't understand why they had to let me go as I am a loveable, mellow, laid-back kind of guy!

I have a solid gray coat and my foster mom loves my beautiful green eyes! I have a bit of a shorter tail - about 3/4 of usual length. My foster mom thinks I was born that way and it works just fine. I am pretty solid and weigh just over 12 lbs. My birthday is January 25, 2018.

My favorite things to do include dumping the cat toys out of the toy bin so I can squeeze myself in there, being right by my foster mom and dad so I don't miss out on anything, and I love to sit on my foster mom's lap when she is reading or working on the computer. If she stops petting me, I remind her with a gentle head butt (or verbally) that I need a little more loving!

I have been neutered (ouch!), vaccinated, and microchipped. I think I would be happiest in a home without dogs - I didn't like the dogs in another foster home. I was also picked on by a cat previously and might like being your one and only kitty the best; however I do get along well with the other friendly foster kitty in my current foster home.
