SPITFIRE is a medium haired, brown tabby and white, female kitten, about 4 months old with the sweetest cheek marking, pink nose and alert ears! Spitfire's mama was a feral kitty, trapped for our cat rescue group's trap-neuter-release program, but was very pregnant at the time. She was fostered by one of our cat rescue group's dedicated volunteers in a loving foster home, until her kittens were old enough to be fostered on their own. Spitfire was born in her foster family's home on 03-07-2021, and she had no problems adjusting to them, the busy household, the other cats or dogs in the home. She also enjoys playing with the foster family's rabbit. Spitfire is a very sweet girl, she likes to snuggle and loves her sisters. She is the "middle child" but has taken on the role of the oldest sibling. She really likes the cat tree and watching out the window, as well as chasing string toys. She's a typical kitten -- she'll play hard, then crash for a long nap, preferably in a lap or with another kitty. As an active, sociable kitten, it is critical that Spitfire is adopted into a home with another kitten (like her siblings Starlifter or Skyhawk) or a playful young cat for companionship. Spitfire is a wonderful kitten, who has lots of love and care to give. She would do great in a home where she gets lots of snuggles from her human and playtime with another kitten (hopefully one or even both of her sisters). She'll also do great with a dog in a home and does very well with the foster family's rabbit.
Spitfire has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet Spitfire in foster, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 days for a possible meet and greet. The $165 ($ 300/2 kittens) adoption fee allows us to continue to help other cats in need. For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1. ID#2103-C0115
