Meet Spike
Hi, my name is Spike! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:
-Personality: Active, BOLD, affectionate, talkative
-Can Live with Cats: No, due to being FIV+ as well as his extreme dislike of other cats
-Can Live with Dogs: Possibly. Would need slow, supervised introductions.
-Can Live with Kids: Cat-savvy teenaged kids
-Needs Indoor Only Home: Yes, due to being FIV+
-History of Litter Box Issues: No
-Energy Level: High!
-Bite History: No
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes, a neuter
Additional Information: This big, gregarious guy is Spike. He's a very people-oriented cat, and will demand your attention by hollering at you and/or doing his best to get between you and whatever you're working on. He loves to be pet, but he can get a little riled up sometimes, so his new family should be able to read his body language and give him space when he needs it. He has an extreme dislike of other cats, and becomes aggressive at the sight of them, so he will need to be the only cat in his new family's life. He is a very active boy and will need lots of mental and physical enrichment to keep him happy and out of trouble. If you'd like to meet with Spike, ask for an adoption application at customer service.
