Meet Spike
Spike joined us when he had a medical issue that his owner could not manage. He successfully had surgery for a growth on his ear and has recovered wonderfully. He has been with us for a while though and he is really ready to find a home of his own.
Spike has a mostly mellow personality... he can sometimes have a short fuse when he is triggered by something (like the other cats in his room, or one too many pets from an admirer) but we feel like he would relax once he was away from the shelter hubbub and his swats would diminish. With the right cat, Spike would be fine having a feline friend, but he would also be okay on his own. Older cat savvy kids would also be fine.
