Sparky Electric Whiskers - adoption pending Tuxedo & Domestic Short Hair Mix Harrisburg, PA

Sparky came to HART through a TNR program, and this purr machine was too friendly to be released. Thank goodness he’s an indoor cat now, where he has easy access to the wands and catnip toys he adores. This handsome boy is playful and athletic, and he’s ready to explore a loving home of his own.

Sparky is good with dogs and other cats. When he's not playing, one of his favorite activities is sitting on his foster's lap and purring away while she's working at her sewing machine.

We estimate that Sparky was born in January or February 2024. We aren’t sure why his whiskers were crinkly as a baby, but we are pretty sure there could have been a lightening storm the night he was born and the electricity in the air sparked a little bit of superpower to jump into his whiskers. You’ll have to adopt Sparky to find out what supernatural powers he’s been bestowed!

With time, Sparky's whiskers have grown long and lush, in perfect swoops, accentuating his golden eyes and perfectly boopable pink nose. Sparky’s whiskers may no longer look disheveled, but he’s still full of magic. We’re hoping to channel some of that magic into an adoption for “Sparkalicious” (as his foster lovingly calls him), who has been waiting several months to find a family of his own.

Sparky is neutered, up-to-date on shots and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
