Meet Sophie! This old lady has a lot of personality packed in her tiny tortie body. She was surrendered after her previous owner could no longer provide her a safe environment and she’s hoping to find a soft bed to snuggle into. She is quite vocal here at the rescue and will let you know when she’s had enough of your nonsense. She doesn’t like to be picked up or too much pressure when being groomed, but she does like light brushing. She takes medication for hyperthyroidism but is otherwise a healthy older cat. She tolerates other cats and children but shouldn’t live with dogs. If you’ve been waiting for a sassy senior kitty, consider adopting Sophie!
