SOPHIE is a quiet yet playful, short-haired beautiful black female kitty about 8 1/2 years old. She was a neighborhood stray cared for by a friendly neighbor until rescued and placed with a loving foster home.She loves playing with her wand toys, being gently petted, and snuggling on the bed with you. She gives head butts and enjoys gentle chin and ear rubs. When content, she lies upside down with her tummy in the air. She's a quiet girl who isn't very needy and doesn't like being separated much from her people once she's bonded with you. She will thrive as the only cat in the home. This sweet and friendly girl needs a quiet and calm forever home where she can feel safe and secure.

Sophie is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, has been defleaed and dewormed, is negative for Felv and FIV, and has had a complete dental (she is in excellent health). She is currently in foster care. For adoption consideration, complete an application at www.CatRescues.org/forms or paper copy available at either Eugene PetSmart store. Once we have your application, a volunteer will call to determine best fit and arrange a possible meet/greet. Her $90 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
