-Can Live with Kids: Adult only home please. Her prior owner was an older lady who became too old to take care of her.

-History of Litter Box Issues: Yes, when she first arrived at the shelter she had a couple of accidents, but these were very likely stress-related and appear to have resolved.
-Energy Level: Low/medium
-Bite History: No
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: No
Additional Information: Sophia is a sweet, but timid 10 years young cat. She hid in her cat cave for a few weeks in our admin office because the shelter environment was too stressful for her. Even though she hissed initially, it was just because she was scared and was never aggressive. With lots of patience, brushing and wet treats, she became brave enough to venture out and then her gentle personality began to shine, although she still hides when someone new comes by or is startled by a noise. She loves to rub on things and chirps or puts a gentle paw out when she wants your attention. She makes lots of muffins with her paws and purrs readily. She would do best in a quiet household and is a very good supervisor for someone working from home. Her favorite place is under or on top of the desk while you work. If you need a new zoom buddy while you work, Sophia is the cat for you!
