Socks's Story

Socks was dumped without a microchip or other identification in one of the new developments near Frederick MD earlier this summer. He clearly had been cared for at some point in his life, although he had not been but neutered; no one responded to his "Lost Cat" posters and ads. Socks is extremely friendly but prefers adults and to come to you rather than being picked up. He has meticulous litter box and grooming habits and is very appreciative of food and attention. Socks gets along with other cats but is not especially needy for cat friends and could be kept solo or with other cats. He is a formidable hunter and would make a fine shop cat or barn cat.
