Socks Tabby & Domestic Short Hair Mix Bethel, CT

Meet Socks, an adorable six-month-old tabby who came to Connecticut from South Carolina after being found as a stray. She has a gorgeous striped coat and stunning green eyes! Due to being on the streets for the start of her life, this sweet girl needs a patient and loving adopter as she gains your trust and adjusts to life in a home.

While Socks is shy at first, once she gets to know you, she'll snuggle up next to you for cuddles and pets. She absolutely cannot get enough of pets and will drool with delight! Like any typical kitten, she enjoys her toys but right now is only playing when no one is around. Socks is in a foster home with other kitties and does fine with them – another cat would likely help build up her confidence in a new home. We would not suggest a home with dogs or young children as she needs a relaxed and quiet environment. She will require an adopter that understands decompression time and will allow Socks to come out on her own terms.
