This lovely little girl was found in a box in York city along with more than a dozen other kittens. Several were sick and several had already died, and several were bottle babies in immediate need of feeding and care. Our friends at Sam's Beasties took in most of this group, but with no help from the York SPCA or other rescues, we wanted to help as much as we could. We squeezed in 4 kittens: 3 teeny tinies who were obviously the same age/litter, and one slightly older kitten. They were sneezy and underweight but otherwise healthy and surprisingly friendly. After growing a little and clearing quarantine, we let the family loose in the GOT house. Now they run around like overgrown mice, getting into trouble and getting underfoot, and the joy and laughter they have brought to the house has been absolutely wonderful.

Smudge has always been the smallest of her siblings, and for a while we were worried she might not make it. She is now a healthy and active girl who loves to play and explore! Smudge and her siblings will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped December 16th and will be ready to leave anytime after that. These kittens must be adopted out in pairs. They are very friendly with other cats and are also very comfortable with friendly dogs of all sizes.
