Smokey Joe is a 14-year-old Maine Coon with lots of snuggles and love to give.

Smokey Joe is an 11.5-pound; 14-year-old declawed Maine Coon sure to dampen loneliness and stoke a love in your heart.

Smokey Joe is always ready for a hike through the backyard wilderness (with a harness and leash of course!) or following the sunbeam around the home for a nap. He can often be found alternating between surveying and snoozing on perches or in caves around the home. When his human returns home in the evening, it takes very little coaxing to take his purr volume from a flickering ember to a continuous crackle as he sits beside you.

Smokey Joe does have diabetes and as a result, requires a low dose of insulin twice daily ($20-30 per month for insulin). He also has a high protein diet (no prescription needed). Smokey Joe has done well with feline friends, but has not yet been around the brighter burn of energy that dogs or children bring.

All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
