Smokey is an almost-1-year-old adorable kitten looking for his forever home!

My name is Smokey and I'm a beautiful sleek large kitten. I have the biggest soulful eyes and will steal your heart right away. I love to roll on my back and get lots and lots of pets.

I don't think I would do well with young kids or dogs because I get wound up easily. I am a decent-sized cat at 13 lbs, and maybe I need to be the only cat in the household too.

Here's what I'm looking for in a human- please be kind and patient. My life hasn't been amazing yet, but please, let's make it great together. I want someone to play with me, cause I'm still very young and have a lot of energy. I love the laser light and I jump in circles if you hold out a wand. Please have owned a cat before, because I need you to be observant for when I get too wound up and need a minute. I do like attention and will snuggle with you, but I'm complicated. I seem to have some nervous energy, but I think having my permanent home will calm that out of me. I'm great with the litterbox, though you likely need to get a covered one cause I like to play in the litter. I easily go into the carrier. Please pick me to be yours!

My hobbies are eating and playing. I also like to sleep, but I'm always available for playtime!

I currently live in a house with my foster mom and 2 resident cats.

My ideal home would be one where the owner likely won't be moving around. I need consistency.

I'm not for a first-time pet owner. I need an owner with cat experience to understand a cat that needs a fresh start and likes to play hard.

All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
