Smokey came to Fuzzy Pawz as a baby and was adopted by an amazing Veteran 7 months ago; sadly the Veteran’s health issues took a massive turn for the worse and he had to return Smokey to Fuzzy Pawz Rescue.

Smokey is such a fun loving guy; he is full of life and love! Smokey is a suave young lad; he knows how to strut his stuff across the room and draw all eyes to him. His favorite way to initiate cuddles is to walk along the back of the couch and rub his check against yours. Once contact has been made, you are his. Nothing is held back as he purrs and glides over your shoulder to lay in your lap. When he really wants to woo you, his feather boa of a tail will curl and wave in happiness as he purrs.

For all that Smokey is willing to woo you, he wants to be wooed just as much. He is looking for a family that spends evenings enjoying each other’s company. Wand toys are a must have as he loves giving chase between table and chair legs. Treats are great too, especially if they get hidden and he has to search for them. Smokey is a calm young cat and would do just as good in a family with children as he would with an adult-only home. The thing he cares most about is being loved. He gets along with other cats and will respect their boundaries. He has not spent time with dogs, but given how respective he is, as long as the introduction is done slowly, Smokey should adjust to having a canine sibling.
