Meet Smokey

Hey ya'll ... my name is Smokey ... probably 'cause I was born & raised in Kentucky (and rescued from there) ... now that's not actually the Smokey Mountains but it's darn close! Guess my life hasn't always been a dream .... living in the mountains can be rough & when I was rescued, it took me a bit to recover from my travels & get use to this northern weather but now I just love looking out the window watching the snow fall or the birds fly by! Being from the south - I am one sweet boy ... 'cause we're all raised with Southern manners, ya know!

If you are looking for a Southern gentleman to keep you company ... I am your guy! I love lounging around the Rescue & snuggling with the volunteers but I'm ready to move on to my forever home... so come on by the Rescue & ask to be "properly introduced" to me... Southern Smokey!
