Meet Smokey

Smokey was brought to SAS when he was trapped during a TNR effort in Weymouth. He is not a feral cat, just a shy guy. Smokey allows slow, gentle petting and has shown no aggression.

Smokey has some a long way since his time outside and while still likely to always be a shy cat, he is a real love with those he trusts!

Smokey is FIV + and is in excellent health. He is likely ok to live with other cats as he is not a fighter. Dogs may be too scary for him, but calm dogs may be ok. Older kids and adults is ideal, humans who can give him time to warm up and gentle love.

Smokey will need a small room to stay in when he first come home. Most likely he will need that room for a few weeks, until she is more comfortable with the people he sees daily.

Smokey is a nice guy looking for a warm home to call his own!

Adoptions are by appointment only so please email adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org for more information!

All cats are fixed, vaccinated, combo tested, dewormed and flea treated at the time of adoption. Adoption fees are $130 for a cat, $180 for a kitten under 5 months, and $60 for a cat with special needs or senior over 10 years.
