Meet Smokey – A Gentle Boy with a Heartwarming Beginning<br/><br/>Smokey’s story begins with his brave mom, a feral cat who had outsmarted every trap we tried—year after year, she slipped right by us like a legend of the neighborhood. But when she became pregnant with this litter, she made a surprising and life-changing choice. She walked into a nearby house seeking safety, and the kind homeowner gladly welcomed her in so she could give birth in peace. After her babies arrived, we were FINALLY able to safely trap her inside the home and get her spayed. This will be her last litter. The homeowner is keeping mom, and now it’s time for her sweet kittens to find forever homes of their own!<br/><br/>Smokey is a 9-week-old domestic medium hair kitten with beautiful gray and white fur and a loving, gentle personality. He is playful and curious, and after a fun romp with toys or zoomies with his siblings, he loves to settle in for snuggles. He is affectionate, social, and happiest when he’s near his people.<br/><br/>Smokey is currently in one of our foster homes and would love a home of his very own—maybe even with a sibling to keep him company.
