Smokey's Story
Smoky is a man of mysteries. He is a big boy with an even bigger personality. He is comfortable with other cats/kittens, but prefers his space. He has met the foster family dog and had little interest or concern. He would be wonderful as an only cat/companion animal because he does love attention.

He's very affectionate!

He loves to take naps in beams of sun, and doesn't really play that much. A quiet, chill house would be great for this guy. Smoky is FIV+ and had stomatitus. To treat this autoimmune disease, his teeth were removed and he's done much better without them. He's a good eater and loves his friskies.

We estimate his birth year to be 2017. Smoky was abandoned by his "family", who moved and left him behind. He remained in the neighborhood where he returned to his home each night and sat on the porch. We discovered his situation when a neighbor called about a colony of community cats they were feeding.

Our required adoption donation is $150 per kitten or $125 per cat (older than 9 months). All our rescues are up to date on shots, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLV/Heartworm (Smoky is FIV+). They are dewormed, treated for parasites and free of fleas. Each is spayed or neutered and given a rabies vaccination.

An application must be completed to be considered to adopt from Stray HELP. You can download it from HERE OR directly ONLINE If your application is approved we conduct a home visit for final approval of adoption.
