This darling little female kitten is Slash! She was rescued with her littermates and mama from a high kill shelter in Oklahoma where they were at risk of euthanasia. They made the long transport to NAWS and were placed in one of our loving foster homes to become socialized and ready for their forever families. Slash is the last of her siblings to be adopted and she is wondering when it will be her turn!

According to her foster, Slash was named for the blond stripe mark across her chest. She can be a bit timid initially, but it does not take her long to warm up and show her adorable personality. Once she is comfortable, she is energetic and playful. She loves to have her chin rubbed. She loves other cats in her foster home and likes to chase and play with their tails. She is indifferent to the dogs in her foster home. Everything is a toy to this little doll, even a piece of fuzz! She is nervous around loud noises, and as a result is a bit timid when she comes to adoption events at NAWS. However, in a home where she has had time to adjust, she is going to be a perfect and adorable addition!
