Meet Skyler (Courtesy Post)

Skyler is a 7 year old female. Fully vaccinated, spayed, front declawed. She is quick to purr when you pet her. Has been kept indoor her entire life and is litter trained. Has been exposed to a home that had additional cats, dog, and children her entire life. She enjoys time to herself but is playful with strings. She doesn’t like to be held but is attentive and quick to come and lay next to you. She likes to play with small stuffed pets. Skyler has developed anxiety. The vet states she thinks it is due to the environment of multiple children and their friends, loud and ever changing schedule and environment. Because of her anxiety she had a few accidents outside of the litter box. We have isolated her in a private room in the home which has seemed to help her, however this is not optimal for her! She is loving and we would love to find her a healthy home where she can lounge, be loved, and not be overwhelmed and anxious. Would probably do best in a home alone.
