SKYHAWK is a short haired, black and white tuxedo, female kitten, about 4 months old with adorable facial markings and beautiful gold eyes. Skyhawk's mama was a feral kitty, trapped for our cat rescue group's trap-neuter-release program, but was very pregnant at the time. She was fostered by one of our cat rescue group's dedicated volunteers in a loving foster home, until her kittens were old enough to be fostered on their own. Skyhawk is the oldest sibling of three adorable sisters. She was born in her foster family's home on 03-07-2021, and she needed a little time adjusting to their busy household and the dogs in the home, when she and her sisters left the kitten room. Skyhawk is a little more reserved when you first meet her, once she warms up to you she is a typical kitten who really enjoys chasing string toys and to snuggle up with either her sisters Starlifter and Spitfire, the other cats in the home or on a human lap. She doesn't like it when the foster family dog barks loudly and may hide with one of the other cats for a short time. As an active, sociable kitten, it is critical that Skyhawk is adopted into a home with another kitten (like her siblings Starlifter or Spitfire) or a playful young cat for companionship. Skyhawk is a very sweet and loving girl. She would do best in a home with one of her sisters (Starlifter or Spitfire) and/or another friendly kitten. She does well with our dogs and likes to play with the foster family rabbit.
Skyhawk has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet Skyhawk in foster, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 days for a possible meet and greet. The $165 ($300 for 2 kittens) adoption fee allows us to continue to help other cats in need. For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1.
