Hi! My name is Sita. My caretakers at RCHS would describe me as being in the BLUE category. BLUE– Cats in the BLUE category will need experienced adopters. Ideally, adopters of cats in the BLUE category will be knowledgeable in the area(s) the cat will be challenging; therefore, adopters should be willing to participate in a training plan to further the work RCHS staff and volunteers already have started.

Cats are assigned to color categories using any previous owner notes, general handling, as well as staff and volunteer observations. As we continue to get to know the cats and gather further insights into their personalities, colors may be adjusted accordingly.

Rancho Coastal Humane Society remains temporarily closed to the general public, but we have companion animals in our care that are ready for adoption BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, and our staff is ready to make that happen!
