Sissy was born to a feral mom and spent her first 7 months of life outdoors with her brothers. Her care givers supplied food, water and shelter but were never able to pet her. She always remained a safe distance from them. While the boys made them selves friendly towards people Sissy did not. The care givers assumed that they were 3 boys so they named "him" Udder Brudder"! They began to notice "He" was gaining weight so the name Mister Sister was used. She became Sissy after that. She was old enough to get pregnant but not old enough to know what to do with her babies.

Sissy is learning to trust us but only has the confidence to trust us when we are sitting on the couch. She enjoys being petted and brushed. She does well with other cats and lives with a cat friendly dog.
