Simba Tabby Brooklyn, NY

Simba is a lovely orange kitten with pretty blue-green eyes; he has wonderful energy. He’s a social boy who loves to be around people and other cats, and he’s a great one for playing as much as he can. He’s also a sweet greeter who will come over and say hello whenever people come into the room.

When this little guy gets tired out, he definitely likes to curl up on a lap and be very cuddly, or perch on your shoulder. He even likes having his belly rubbed. But pretty soon he’s back in play mode and will nudge your hand or foot to let you know it’s time for fun. Simba is quite a talker, too; he frequently meows to communicate. He has a lot to say!

At his foster home, Simba has tried to entice the adult cats into playing with him and isn’t discouraged when they give him a warning hiss. He’s a determined kitten with a big heart and just keeps trying. So Simba needs to be adopted in a home with another kitten or young playful cat so he can have a buddy.

And how about this for a harrowing rescue story: Simba was spotted on a roof where his kitten littermate had just been carried off by a hawk! A neighbor saw the whole thing and called for help, and little Simba was rescued. His foster family says he was loving right from the start and is a pure joy to have around. Simba has a tiny crick/zig-zag in his tail (from an earlier break, according to the vet).
