Meet Silver

This silver stunner arrived at the shelter when her owner of 10 years sadly had to enter hospice care. She’s a low-key, gentle cuddle bug who is looking for a lap to sit on, and she’ll let you know it.

Silver is on a special diet for kidney disease. Often we will have donations of this food which we can then give adopters free of charge, or you can order the food through our clinic. She also has hyperthyroid disease and is on Methimazole 5 mg 1/2 tablet twice daily. The cost of the medication can also be purchased through our clinic and is also something we frequently get donations of which we can then give to adopters free of charge. We also recommend twice-yearly exams and lab work for her.

The SPCA is now allowing walk-ins between 12 - 3:30 p.m. based on availability of adoption counselors, but please note, appointments will receive priority. Walk-ins may have to wait until an adoption counselor is available for assistance or may have to schedule an appointment for the next available time. Please bring a printed version of your questionnaire with you. If you’d like to discuss an animal and/or set up a meet and greet please email info@spcawestchester.org with your completed questionnaire. Please allow up to 72 hours for a response.

Adoption Fees include spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccines and microchip.

Adult cats over 1 year of age: $75
All Kittens: $150
Two Kittens: $275
Lonely Hearts Club members: $65

Adopters are required to pay a refundable Spay and Neuter deposit of $100 in addition to their adoption fee for unaltered dogs. The S/N deposit will be refunded after the dog has been spayed or neutered at our clinic or at their own vet after proof has been provided.
