Meet Shug
Shug came to ADOPT in July of 2019 from a shelter in Louisiana after Hurricane Barry. He was born around 2018.
You might wonder where I got such a strange name like Shug. Well, down south, where I come from, Shug is short for Sugar. I'm a pretty sweet fellow.
I get along with my feline roommates just fine.
I'm not a big fan of being picked up but love hanging out with folks. I don't much like having my head or ears touched but give me a gentle scratch on my back and I will show you just what a lover I am.
I would probably do ok with kids as long as they understand that I'm not much into being picked up.
Not sure about dogs but willing to give it a try.
