Meet Shirley

Meet Shirley! When this gal first arrived in CO, she was shy and timid, but has made incredible leaps and bounds during her time in foster care. Now she is ready for a purrrfect forever home. She has some stranger danger, so she'd do best in a patient home where she can explore and shine at her own pace. Her future family will quickly learn that the shyness is a facade for a whole lot of adorable personality. She loves to play (wand toy and laser super fan), purr, sun-bathe, chat, and is a queen biscuit maker. She's a gal who knows what she wants. Being held and pet is not always her favorite, but she is great at using purrs and vocal cues to help you understand her boundaries (snuggling next to humans & head scratches yup! back pets & being carried around its gonna be a no from her). Because of this, a home with small children who may not understand her boundaries, wouldn't be the best fit. She'd flourish in a home with other kitty siblings. Shirley is being fostered in central Denver, and can't wait to meet her future furever family.
