Meet Sherlock (and Noble)
Sherlock came to us from California where he had been surrendered to a local humane society there. He is a young, healthy adult cat who had actually been scheduled to be euthanized because the high-kill shelter he was at did not have room for him. He is shy and just need some who understands him and will give him the time he needs to get use to you and his environment.
This cat is currently available for adoption at our Redmond store. Each store has cats for adoption, but Redmond's adoption kennels are permanent, meaning that we never need to foster out those cats, and they get to peaceably live at our Café until a family takes them home. When a cat has been on site at Kirkland for over 2 months, they get put on a transfer list for Redmond as soon as a spot opens up. Cats over 12 years are preferentially hosted at Redmond due to the permanent situation of the kennels there.
All of our adoptable cats, regardless of home shelter, will have the following before they are released for adoption: Spay/neuter, microchip, current vaccines, FeLV test (depending on the level of risk, some cats may also receive the FIV test), flea-free, worm treatment, ringworm treatment, and recent vet visit.
