Meet Sheila

Chief Lap Officer Sheila: Overseeing Cuddles and Pets!

Age: 2 years old
Looks: Small frame, stunning tuxedo coat, and mesmerizing emerald green eyes
Personality: Social, playful, loves laps, and enjoys being petted

Sheila has had her share of challenges—she was found at a community cat feeding station with her kittens (now adopted). Now, it’s her time to shine! Sheila is an easy keeper who isn’t picky about food, always uses her litter box, and makes the perfect home office companion.

Special Note: Sheila has an orthopedic issue with her back knees. While this doesn’t slow her down, her vet recommends she take a joint supplement, which she happily eats mixed in her food. The supplement is affordable ($36 for a 2-month supply) and available over the counter. Her new family can speak to her foster and vet for more details about her condition and care.

Ideal Home:
Children on a case by case basis
Best as an only cat
Okay with calm dogs

Sheila’s adoption fee has been fully sponsored! She’s ready to bring love, cuddles, and a little sass (she always looks grumpy in photos but isn’t, we promise) to her new home.

To learn more about this kitty, please email adopt@catsrusrescue.org or submit an adoption application online at https://catsrusrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application

All of our cats and kittens are rescues. They are mixed breed unless otherwise noted. If a cat or kitten is designated as a particular breed we do not have papers to verify the breed information. We assign breeds to our cats and kittens based on similar appearance, size, and temperament as described in the breed description of a purebred cat.

The adoption fee includes a wellness exam, spay or neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, FeLV and FIV testing (negative/negative unless otherwise noted), treatment for parasites (fleas, ticks, intestinal worms, ear mites), and microchipping.
