Meet Shadow
Shadow is a year and a half old at time of posting. He was dumped outside and actually was found watching over a pair of kittens who were also rescued and everyone though he was a she and their mom. He turns out to be a super affectionate guy, he loves neck scratches and being pet. HE has loved everyone he has met in foster care so with the right introduction may do well with teens and older children. we cant say how he would be with dogs but he is outgoing and that's what we look for with cats who might pair well with others.
He had a faint positive test for FIV and the vets want to retest in 6 months. Fiv is not a death sentence and many cats never have complications as long as they have regular vet checks and are well taken care of If you want to learn more about FIV and its implications please go here.https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments-centers-and-institutes/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv
He is Neutered, has all his age-appropriate vaccinations, tested negative for FELV,
