Adopt Sgt Wren Tibbs! Tibbs (or Wren to his vets) is the ultimate people-loving kitty. He's a regular at Liberation Cat House events, happily greeting everyone who stops by.

Tibbs has three congenital heart conditions: aortic stenosis, pulmonary stenosis, and a ventricular septal defect. This means his heart valves don't work properly, and he has a small hole between the lower chambers of his heart. He takes Atenolol twice daily to manage his heart pressure and will need 1-2 annual cardiology visits (EKG and echocardiogram) for life.

His prognosis is very good if he maintains a good pressure in his heart. His cardiologist allows him to self-regulate his activity but advises against strenuous play, like high jumping or back flipping to chase wand toys.

We'll be selective about his adopter to ensure Tibbs gets the best care and love. His ideal adopter:
1. Has a feline playmate-ideally a younger cat who likes to roughhouse. Tibbs is very social and thrives on both human and cat companionship.
2. Understands his medical needs-his twice daily Atenolol is a non-negotiable, lifesaving medication.
3. Is committed to follow-up care-including cardiology visits (for EKG and echocardiogram), as well as monitoring at home for any changes in his energy or breathing.

Tibbs may have a shorter lifespan than average, but regular care and medication aim to keep him healthy and happy for as long as possible.
