**You can stop in anytime to meet Serena to see if she is the one for you! She is located in the kitty condo in the lobby at Avenue of the Saints Animal Hospital in Waverly. We are working together with this wonderful vet to help save more lives. If they she is the one for you, please do apply. Serena was born in our rescue on July 12th, 2021 so she will be about 9-weeks-old on July 13th, 2021. We trapped her pregnant mama about a week before she was born. We got her shots, dewormed, flea preventative, tested FeLV / FIV negative. She will be spayed by the rescue when she is old enough. You can adopt her now and then set up to have our vet in Waverly spay her and the rescue will pay for it. You must be willing to bring her back to Waverly for her spay to adopt her.

Serena has a semi-feral mama but her mama took good care of her. Mama cat also allowed her foster family to pet and interact with her kittens so all of them are tame and super sweet. They are small kittens for their age. They are fun and love to play.

Serena must be adopted into a home with another young kitty or kitten so she has someone to play with. If you do not already have a cat friend for her, you could adopt one of her siblings. She cannot be an only cat.

Will someone please adopt Serena and give her a forever home? $95 adoption fee + $100 spay deposit for a total of $195 to adopt her. Once she is spayed at our vet, you will get your $100 back.


WE ARE A NO-KILL 501-C-3 NON-PROFIT RESCUE. All donations are tax deductible. We do not have a shelter. All pets live in foster homes. We only adopt to indoor homes. To see an animal, you must fill out an application first and then once approved, we can set up for you to meet the animal you are interested in. We do background checks on all applicants. All animals see a vet for shots and normal exams. If they appear healthy and there are no obvious health concerns, then extensive testing is not done. This is normal procedure for pet rescues and shelters.
Waverly Pet Rescue puts a lot of money into medical care for each dog and cat we take in. $200 is the average cost for basic care. This does not include if the animal had an injury, required extra flea / ear mite treatments, or needed extra days at the vet office.
