Meet Seela - pending adoption
Seela is a 9-month-old, playful cat looking for her forever home!
Seela enjoys being around humans and meows a lot until she gets the attention she deserves. Her paws are all white, so she looks like she wears white gloves and boots. She will sleep with you and will be always around you when she is awake, but she is not a lap cat. She is not aggressive. It has been almost a month since she came to her foster home and didn't scratch or bite her foster once.
Seela loves to sit in front of the window and watch squirrels, birds, and anything that moves. During her night zoomies, she also loves to run around and catch her feather and mouse toys. Whoever adopts Seela should be aware that she still has kitten energy and wants quality playtime every evening. She likes to go to sleep after breakfast time and wakes up when the sun goes down.
She is currently living in a quiet two-level townhouse with her foster. There is only one person who lives with Seela right now, so we do not know how she'll do in a crowded home. Considering her high energy levels between sunset and morning, we think she would be happy in a house with either [2-4 people] or [1-2 people and another cat] so that she can have different people to run and play with.
Seela will have spaying surgery on 10/18/21. The adopter should agree to post-op instructions if they want to take Seela a couple of days after her surgery. She doesn't have any other ongoing medical needs.
She mostly eats dry food but her foster also gives her some wet food 2-3 times a week. She uses the litterbox properly without any issues. She automatically started using a scratching board.
There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate.
Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.
All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
