Meet Scarlett & Bessela
Sweet Scarlett (light nose) and Bessela (dark nose) are waiting to give you snuggles. They are a little shy at first, but once they are settled, their loving, affectionate nature comes out. They are easy to handle too!
These lovely kitties were rescued from the mean streets of Brooklyn in 2019 when they were only 10 weeks old. They were adopted as kittens, but their "family" returned them when they moved out-of-state. Now they are a little confused and sad, but they will be very grateful for a new, loving home. They will repay you ten-fold.
You might notice in the photos that one of Scarlett's eyes is not fully open. She had an eye infection when she was rescued, and unfortunately her previous family did not follow up with the medication she needed. Now the eye needs to be removed. :( Her rescuer will pay for this procedure, and one-eyed cats do very well, so this should not be a deterrent to adoption.
