Saul is a 1.5-year-old silly kitty looking for his forever home!

Saul is a polydactyl fellow which just means he has ‘extra’ toes. He loves to play—chasing balls around (soft ones seem to need to be washed and are often found in the water bowl) and other toys. He enjoys interactive toys with you—fishing pole type, cat dancer, etc. and especially enjoys playing with a dog buddy.

Saul likes to ‘play’ in his water bowl, so it sits in an empty litter pan just in case he needs to do some thorough splashing. During his time with his foster family, he has gone from an occasional lap cat to decidedly loving lap time!

Saul would do best in a home with adults. And he’d love, and needs, to have his very own dog who would like to play chase and wrestle with him or let him sleep with him. Do you have trees and a bird feeder outside a window with a perch? Saul would approve! He loves to watch the wildlife outside the window.

Saul is fed twice a day (wet and dry). He likes a ‘treat ball’ and it is a useful distraction when you need to leave the house as he finds an open door pretty hard to resist. When he hears you coming back, he will be right there at the door talking loudly to you. If you aren’t speedy enough with getting inside, he'll throw himself on the inside of the door (and slide down it) to ‘hurry’ you along.

Saul is also fascinated by leashes and phone cords hanging on a hook/wall. He will jump up and throw himself at it so he can get it ‘swinging’.

Saul loves people who will talk and play with him and give him lots of attention. But finding the ‘right’ dog is high on his list of what makes a good home.

Saul likes people he knows but is initially shy when meeting new folks. He is very sociable once he knows you but will need to be started in a room where you can visit him for periods of time as he learns about you and his new home.

Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
